I don't exactly like the term "Dark Age" particularly because of references to the "Dark Age" in the past which kinda annoyed me.
The forums ARE dead, and there is no amount of denial that can disagree with that statement, because it's true. I don't know what it is that made it so dead. To be honest, I've actually only noticed the decline in forum activeness as soon as the site changed. I don't know what the connection is, but that's what I've noticed. Even the Brawl forums are slowly starting to die. And also, let's face it, the majority of what we've been really talking about was Gabe and other trolls. I've no clue how to solve this problem not of the trolls, but the frequency of posts and topics. We've also lost some good members as celery said, ones that kept the forum going. Although the term "Dark Age" is one that I don't like, it really seems like we're losing our flare.
Hm... I think Jose should send mass e-mails to every member to grab their attention and maybe get them back into the forums.
maybe a little advertising would help. And yes, I think we need more game (preferably Wii) related topics. If older members keep leaving, in a matter of months I'd probably be one of the older members. Yes, I agree the forums are 98% dead, and we NEED more mods because the only one who I can consider active is Jose himself, who is an Admin. Maybe a few profiles will kindle a fire in a few members' hearts and become active again

Anyway, I agree with Yosh 100%. The spamming isn't the main problem, it's the lack of activity, energy, and fun. If I come to this site in my free time, but do not have any fun, why should I return? As of this moment, the only fun is in the miis section.
I meant preferably Wii as in context to MiiPlaza when a lot of people joined it as a Wii site. But now that it's GC, Wii isn't as important so nvm the preferably wii part
Yes I've noticed this abrupt lack of activity over the past couple of weeks.Well I don't plan on leaving... become less active, well yes - maybe.... if it keeps this way. But I'll keep posting miis till my Wii dies. (And btw, I haven't been uploading because my camera's dead).What Mike mentioned about having more mods is something we definitely need. To liven up the plaza while Jose is working on the site... Maybe more contests, etc.
It's really sad that some of you are considering leaving. I wish I could contribute more, but I can't login very frequently or for long, so I tend to spend my time here uploading miis rather than socialising in the forums. I'm hoping I'll be able to join in more sometime in the future though.
On a more positive note, there's a chance we might get some more European users here now - I think Blastworks finally came out here last Friday so hopefully some new people will start visiting the site. Maybe that will help revitalise the place. Also, November is often a busy time for homework/coursework - it always was for me anyway - so that could explain some of the recent absences. I guess we'll have to see what happens when people have time off school/work over the Christmas holidays.
E, vero. I come here very often. But it turns out there is nothing to talk about in this place. The looser Gabrielle was the only one keeping this place alive, and adesso he has dissapeared.

I apologize for my absence. I've been soooo busy, I hadn't logged into MiiPlaza for almost a whole month. I just got a quick break to post around and tell everyone I'm alive.
With work, college, personal life, family and all the things life throws you in your hands... I had no time for MiiPlaza, even less for GamerCreated... :S
Though, I'm not entirely free. I just finished handing in an essay for an online class and thought I would jump in here. It's 1:00AM, so you might just guess how busy I am.
Anyways, I'll try to be a little more active. But don't be surprise if I'm not seen for days or weeks. :(

A moderator is a member who's been given the responsability to keep things under control, maintain a healthy atmosphere and make other members feel at home. There are a couple more moderators around, they've just taken upon themselves to cover other areas of the website (such as images or miis).
Now, let's please get back on topic. We're up to thread 3 of these "Coming Back & Leaving Thread", mainly because these threads get derailed with nonsense.

^ by being polite, helpful, and respectful towards others, aswell as being online here frequently enough, and you might be considerd for the position. but, considering the admin is usualy very busy with the running of the site, being given mod status is few and very far between, hard earned, and well desrved, for who ever gets given the job on here.
any way, lets get back on track.
I can't believe how inactive I'm becoming. Then again having to write 3 papers in a week could have something to do with it... I'll be on today and tomorrow but not on Friday or Saturday.
