Something like the world ending in 2012, should be discussed in the Politics and Current Events forums.
I know I'm going against my own rules here, but I'll tell you this. The only source anyone really gets that idea from is the Mayan calendar, which is obscure in many ways. That's it, just one calendar. Omigosh I'm gonna die because this here calendar says so. Whoever convinced you that the world would be ending in 2012 should have worked hard or lied about the sources, because it's just not true. Done and done.
