Yeah, DL'ed Megaman 9 and I swear, this would be what an Xbox360 game would of been back on the NES. Achievements, DLC, save games... Ok, so maybe a few NES games had that, but did they have flicker controll? The best thing about this game... It's all retro goodness without any artificial filler like gimped 2D/3D graphics, or horribly craptastic cartoon animated segments with voice acting that'd make baby seals kill baby seals. The only way this could get any better would be if Nintendo released the original NES gamepad (the rectangular one) as a Wii Classic Controller. Then I could put up my TMNT poster, grab some long neck Coca-Colas, break out my original gaming chair and it's yesteryear all over again.
Remember those awesome Mega Man 9 press kits we told you about not so long ago? Well one dedicated Blue Bomber fan is soon going to be cozying up to an assets CD in a NES cartridge-shaped case and will find their bank account significantly reduced as a result, because one of these kits has just sold for an eye-watering $750 on auction site eBay.
Worth every penny? Well, not really %u2013 especially when you consider that Capcom is about to make the kits available to the public for the more reasonable price of $49.95. (On sale at 3 PM PST today, keep F5ing the page folks, these will sell out fast!)
