Please try the level and let me know what you think! I tried to use the very end as my title screen (you'll see...) but this will work, I guess. Also, if there are requests, I'll post the pieces of the level so people can remix and make their own versions. Just please number or otherwise identify new versions to avoid confusion... (yes, I want the credit for making the original!)
very nice! i gave you the five you deserve. what i liked was:
-the sound effects
-the speed up and slow down
though it was a bit hard it was nice. like actual spy hunter. Please make another spy hunter level
Even though I'm not sure how you pulled it off (yet), I love how you used the screen's margins to introduce the enemies and
the sound cues for the speed up/speed down were a great touch. Really
fun boss fight, too.
@Gryzor: isn't half the fun going into the editor to dissect levels and see how the tricks are done? I'm sure you see things I got from your levels in here...
The sounds were a last-minute discovery for me, too, and I really like how they turned out. The fast sections actually FEEL faster with the sound! I'm especially fond of the quarter dropping sound at the very beginning, too.
Just in case anybody's having trouble with difficulty (I know, my levels aren't the hardest out there, but still...) there are 1UPs hidden near each Weapon Van. Look for a black outline that doesn't quite match the side of the road. Could be helpful if you find yourself crashing in the fast sections or right before the boss...
Hehehe... I just pitched the idea to my buddy Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and he took it from there. The long time it's spent in production is to ensure it's of the highest quality.
I haven't played it (probably don't have enough free space in my editor), but you said you hid 1-ups? What a good idea! All of the best creators here should put their innovative ideas together to make the ULTIMATE Blastworks level!
