Orbital Fleet Engagement, the 3rd stage of SFX Lambda.  It uses alternate, vertical perspective ships just for the hell of it (the normal ships work the same, they just don't look as good):

That's all I've got for now; if people enjoy these levels I'll try to make some more.  I've got plenty of plans for future stages, so let me know what you like or dislike.  Man this game is awesome.

Oh I see, it doesn't recognize a line break.  Well, easy enough to figure out.  It would be nice to be able to edit and delete posts, though.

This one was a little too hard for me, especially the mine field... maybe I'm missing a strategy here?  Still, it's impressive that you got your enemies to move the way they do in a (mostly) vertical level.  That can be tricky.  Good job on making your levels both consistent and unique within the trilogy.  It's also nice to see people spend a long time making their levels instead of pumping things out before they're finished.  Looking forward to more... eventually!

Ah, that's more like it. I like this one much more than Corneria.

I'm very impressed with what you've done with the enemy movements, especially the Galaga-like waves of smaller ships. I just need to figure out how you pulled it off now. :)

@MrMartinLee: The trick to getting through the minefields is firstly to know where they are so you can stop shooting just when you get there, and to fix your eyes on the middle row of mines (the only ones that are actually enemies).  You can then fly through diagonally (right to left is probably best).  You could zigzag through too, but that makes the tracking shots more likely to nail you.   Might be able to just find the ideal positioning and fly straight through as well, but I haven't tried that.

@Gryzor: I wish I had my Wii online early enough in the creation of these levels to steal from your great ideas!  Glad you like it!

@Anyone: Can you beat this level on pilot (without cheating or using a more powerful ship)?  I've come pretty close, but never quite made it.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it again...

I beat it on ace with Gryzors Vertigal, but that doesn't count, does it?
