All in all, this game is most definitely worth checking out. It is one of those must-have Wii games!
There are certainly better games out there, but it's still nice to play from time to time.
The single-player puzzles and challenges will entertain for a long time, but this game really shines when you play against serveral other people. My biggest complaint comes from having a sore arm the next day because we couldn't stop playing!
Best use of the wiimote since wii sports. Â Buy it.
man! this game is scary but theres no story!!!!!!
its like you appear in the ward and then you find some photos and then you have a freaky flashback that doesnt even make any sense!
game play: good
story: bad
Just got it, initial impressions are good, BUT. I have know idea of it's staying power. We'll see. As for the concept, Awesome
Fun game with family and friends.
Amazing, funny, addictive game! Steven Spielberg and EA really put some work on this gem!
Great for younger kids, and the editor is kinda cool
After having this as my #1 for over a month on gamefly, it is FINALLY here. I played it quite a bit the first day I got it. It is interesting, but not as good as I thought it would be. It says that it is wifi, but I still haven't figured that one out yet... If I can find out how it is wifi and be able to play others online, then I would increase the rating on this one. By itself, it is ok. I don't get the point of the dancing animals in the background or why you have to choose your animal in the beginning. I have yet to see that incorporated into the game. I'm almost through all of the levels now. I like games that take more skill and longer time to get through personally. It is a good game for its genre but if you want a challenge, rent it don't buy it
I played this with my girlfriend in coop mode - and we've never laughed so hard ;)
Brilliant game design, and good game.
Only minor drawback would be that sometimes when you try to throw hard - it just ends up throwing extremely short.
die physik is total geil :)
Don't be fooled by the cheesy cartoon characters on the front of the box. Boom Blox goes against everything I know about what makes a good game. There's no real in depth story, the graphix aren't all that great, but the gameplay integrated with the motion sensative remote is unmatched. I mean if you break it down and think this game takes a very basic enjoyable concept of smashing blocking towers. Who didn't enjoy taking a giant plastic godzilla to a tower perfectly stacked blocks and completely reducing them to rubble.
Boom Blox is a game where players, play in an omni present perspective (meaning there really is no player avatar). The object of the game is to throw balls at block toweres and make a mess of em. The trick is to locate just wich blox on these elaborate towers to target. There are several other ways to take down towers as well some blocks vanish when struck other create a chemical explosion when they touch other blox like them, all these different concepts mixed in really makes this an award winner, should definitly be at the top of any Wii owners shopping list.
Also Boom Blox supports a level editer where players can create their own block towers to destroy.
If you've never played Boom Blox I would highly recommend it . Me and My girlfriend played this game for hours and will probably buy it as soon as we get the oppurtunity.
I didn't like this game because of the building mode. It may sound exciting and for most players it is, but for me, I think it is hard just to put the blocks down and stack them and move around the whole map and it is not as easy as most people make it seem. :-(
real good game for those like puzzles; both making and solving them.
